"Prophecies" by Phillip Glass. Actually perfect for this.

That's fine. Better than fine, really. I'll wait for you, and I'll have everything packed pronto.

[Once he's one his way, of course Luz's worse thoughts come into play. How she thought that Kaisou was going easy on her, giving her a version of Eda and Hunter, though they were compromised as they were. Hunter being here had been a comfort, even if he remembered nothing about them going into Bellos' mind. Him going had been bad, but at the time, Amity was still there and so was Eda and Owlbert. It had been a loss, but one she could stomach.

And she cursed herself a little. She'd been around the Madrigals, had seen how that family fractured as they slowly lost each other, and her heart went out to them, stupidly hoping she could help ease their pain a little, try to give them hope that they could move past the loss.

But now she knew she should have taken what happened to them as a lesson. At any time, at any point, she could lose her loved ones. Amity's loss had blindsided her because they had so many soft, sweet moments Luz tortured herself over, feeling like she could take on anything with her girlfriend there. That had been a kick in the teeth, and Luz knew that even when she said she'd recovered, she had not. Every day was a dull reminder that Amity wouldn't be there, with her soft smile and gentle gaze and reassuring words. Eda had done her best then, because she'd at least understood what this loss meant to Luz.

And now Eda was gone, mere days after Luz had mistakenly injured Owlbert, and the Palisman had left with her. Luz wasn't sad about losing her mode of transportation insomuch as she lamented not making things right with her friend, who was gone.

All of them. Gone.

So when Alberto finally did arrive, Luz, in her state of pain and raw emotion, held onto him. He had the face she was sure she gave Danny a few weeks ago as her recovered from his whole ordeal, but that was only a fleeting thought.

Everything else was just pain, and the need for a temporary balm. She was really grateful that Alberto had made that choice.
